hot summer at UTA but its fun

well , actually speaking this is my 1st blog and i didnt know what to write. I was coming to work and it was too hot outside.So texas heat inspired me to write this. According to me UTA is very boring place specially in vacation time. Vacation seems like its gonna kill you if you do not have work and anything iteresting to do. Well, you can say I am writing this blog because I have nothing else to do. lol.. jokes apart but lets talk summer at UTA with feeling hot hot hot in Texas heat and more over when AC does not work in the apartment what will you do ?? I just think of going to any place but out of UTA. But its not possible when there is no public transportation and I am a poor UTA desi student having no car :( lolzzz

So you must be thiking what do I do all day. Well, I do lot of things to keep myself busy and involved in some activities. As we all know our best friend in USA is our laptop. He is always there when I need him. He makes me laugh, learn, talk, watch serials and movies. I have started one new series 24. I am addicted to it. I love to watch action and crime tv shows. I am watching season 2 and I am glad I have 6 more season to go. I used to chat a lot with friends but now I just do not get online much to talk to friends, and the only reason is 24.

The best part of UTA is sports activities. I never get bored after 5 o'clock. Crieket, soccer, raquet ball, tennis, volley ball, basketball, badminton. I have 7 sports for 7 days. And I am mad when it comes to sports. So I play , run on the track and have some gym to make muscles lolzz. So I am thankful to UTA for having such a good gym and sports activities. And plus I have some of good friends who are like me always found in sports area. GP, Lola,Huzefa, Catalina people, and more are always there playing something. So I enjoy the best time at UTA in the evening. 2-3 hours of physical and mental exercise.

I work at OIT and I get 20 -24 hours a week. Is this less?well yes indeed it is. I have been asking more hours but OIT does not have more for us. So this is the best time to use what I do not do when I am home. I am looking for an internship in fall. So I apply to the positions when I am at work. I study CCNA when I am at work. But I should give more time to studies. And I have been increasing my time every week. This economical situation sucks for everyone here and specially for an international student. What more one can do other than applying for jobs, having best resume ready for himself. What you require is a small luck which everyone will get at certain time. So one tension is on the head all the time about finding a job.But I have a hope and it keeps me working.

What else is left other than working , studying, watching series and movies, and playing. Well there are few days when I meet my family in dallas and have some actual home feeling. Other than this talking with family in India , with friends (after 9 pm lol).. cooking somedays, sleeping. although I dont sleep like vacation. I sleep 6-7 hours a day which is enough for me I.And how can I forget the best game I have ever played 'MafiA'.. I started playing with my dearest friends at west crossing 201 with 15 crazy people who play till 5 am in the morning.

No classes and doing other things is really a good experience for me. And I think I am livnig my life at UTA instead of just surviving like in the semester time with the books... I wish UTA provides the credits for all these extra activities I do , so I do not have to take more classes in fall.. lolzz
